Coach Brad brings a strong background in swimming, diving, coaching, leadership, and instruction to the Idle Hour Sailfish Swim Club. He grew up in Northeast Ohio, where he swam for Massillon Perry High School and the Perry Aquatic Club. His aquatic experience includes 12 years of swimming, 4 years of diving, and continued participation with the Dayton Sharks U.S. Masters Swimming Club.
Brad moved to Beavercreek in 2021 and has been a member of Idle Hour Swim Club for four years. Over the past year, he has been active with the Dayton Raiders Aquatic Club, cheering as a swim parent and serving as a USA Swimming Stroke and Turn Official. He and his wife have four children, three of whom are currently involved in swimming.
Natalie Exman is finishing up her Senior year at Beavercreek HS. She has been swimming for Idle Hour since she was 7 and has been on the high school swim team fo the past four years, earning a varsity letter. She also teaches swim classes at the DRAC. She is really looking foward to summer swim this year! Go Sailfish!
Kaytin Schaeffer is finishing up her Senior year of high school. She has been swimming for a total of 8 years, 5 at Idle Hour and has been on Beavercreeks high school swim team for the past 4 years, earning her varsity letter. She is also a lifeguard for Idle hour. And is really looking forward to the summer season! Go Sailfish!
Emma Driver is finishing her Junior year at Beavercreek. She has swam for Idle Hour her whole life and has 2 varsity letters in swim. This is her 3rd year coaching for the team. She is excited for the summer and to watch everyone improve their swimming tecnique. GO SAILFISH!!!
Elias Hill is finishing up his sophomore year as a hoemschooler. This will be his 12th summer swimming for Idle Hour, and also swims for Beavercreek High School, and has earned two varsity letters. Elias also teaches swim lessons at DRAC. He is looking forward to helping others learn to swim.
Noah Poe is finishing up his sophomore year of homeschooling. He has swam for 6 years and is on his 3rd year for Idle Hour. He is so excited for the season this summer and to watch everyone improve. GO SAILFISH!!!
